Kazuhiko Nakabayashi is the head of Division of Developmental Genomics, Department of Maternal-Fetal Biology, National Research Institute for Child Health and Development, Japan. He graduated from the University of Tokyo and got PhD (Science). He had five years of experience in Yokohama and Tronto as a research position, respectively, and most recently, he has been working at the National Research Institute for Child Health and Development since 2005. In this webinar, Dr. Nakabayashi will talk about “Epigenomic Approaches to Improve Diagnostic Yield of Rare Diseases”, the advantages and disadvantages of array and sequencing methods will be reviewed, and a methyl capture sequencing panel targeting gene promoter regions under development with Twist, will be discussed.
